Return to Kaza for local market stroll and dinner

Drive to Tabo Monastery – a UNESCO World Heritage Site candidate

• Explore 10th-century murals and frescoes

Continue to Dhankar Village

• Visit Dhankar Monastery, dramatically built on a cliff

• Optional: Short trek to Dhankar Lake (1–1.5 hrs one way)

Return to Kaza or stay overnight in Tabo

Overnight stay in Kaza or Tabo

Enter Pin Valley National Park

• Known for rare wildlife like snow leopards and ibex (if you're lucky!)

Visit Mud Village – charming hamlet surrounded by mountains

Enjoy tea with locals and admire the green contrast in barren Spiti

Return to Kaza by evening

Drive towards Chandratal Lake via Kunzum Pass

• Reach by afternoon and explore the magical crescent-shaped lake

Optional: Camping by Chandratal Lake (weather and permits permitting)

• Stargazing opportunity like nowhere else!

Overnight stay in camps near Chandratal (if open)

• If not, return to Batal for night stay in basic guesthouse

Drive back to Manali via Rohtang Pass

Reach Manali by evening
