Day 1: Arrival & Cultural Exploration
Arrive in Thrissur and check into your hotel or heritage stay.
Begin your trip by visiting the Vadakkunnathan Temple, an ancient Shiva temple and a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its stunning architecture and murals.
Explore the Thrissur Pooram Exhibition Ground, especially if visiting during the Pooram festival, famous for the grand elephant processions and fireworks.
Visit the Thrissur Zoo and Museum, which houses a variety of animals, birds, and a collection of Kerala’s cultural artifacts.
Spend the evening at Shakthan Thampuran Palace, a beautiful palace showcasing Kerala's royal heritage and architecture.
Enjoy a traditional Kerala dinner with local specialties like Sadya (Kerala-style feast) at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Spirituality & Nature
Start the day with a visit to the Paramekavu Bhagavathy Temple, a prominent temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy.
Visit the Kerala Kalamandalam, a renowned institution dedicated to preserving Kerala's classical arts like Kathakali, Mohiniyattam, and Kalaripayattu (optional: you can also attend a live performance here).
Head to the serene Athirappilly Waterfalls, often called the "Niagara of India", for a breathtaking view and a short trek around the waterfall.
Afterward, visit Vazhachal Waterfalls, which is nearby and equally stunning.
Return to Thrissur in the evening, where you can explore the local markets, known for their spices, coir products, and handloom fabrics.

Day 3: Local Heritage & Departure
Explore St. Thomas Church, one of the oldest churches in Kerala, reflecting the Christian influence in the region.
Visit Sree Krishnaswamy Temple in Guruvayoor a famous pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Krishna.
Enjoy a peaceful afternoon at Punnathur Kotta, a well-known elephant sanctuary in Guruvayoor, housing over 60 elephants.
Spend the rest of the day shopping for souvenirs, particularly traditional Kerala handicrafts like coir products, brassware, and wooden artifacts.
Depart with a sense of Kerala’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
